Amy will give us a presentation (maybe a workshop) on the opencv computer vision package.

It will go something like this:

Intro to OpenCV:

  • getting started
  • paint! but with code!
  • understanding different computer vision problems
  • face/object detection
  • real time video analysis
  • masking
  • feature matching
  • object tracking
  • identifying text
  • extracting text and misc. features for solving business problems

We'll be trying this in a workshop format so bring a laptop with opencv-contrib-python and dependencies installed if you can. pypi has some helpful tips if you have trouble (Windows).

https://pypi.org/project/opencv-contrib-python/
pip install opencv-contrib-python
