PyLadies/TBDSG: Customer Lifetime Value

Details

Tampa Bay Data Scientists!

For our first "post-plague" (fingers crossed) live MeetUp, we'll be riding on the PyLadies coattails led by one of our favorite former presenters!

You may remember Amy Bennett from our second-to-last PRE-plague meetup (January 2020...yes :( ) when she gave us a fabulous demonstration in true Manic Pixie Data Geek style of OpenCV processed in real-time with TensorFlow.

Here's a copy/paste (mostly) of Deborah's announcement. Thanks much Deborah for putting this together!
----------------------------------------------------

Amy Bennett, a self-described 'Manic Pixie Data Geek', collaborates with business partners using math and data to solve their problems. Currently the Lead Data Scientist at Penn Interactive, Amy has several years of experience as a data scientist, including time at Bank of America, Disney, Raymond James, numerous startups, and consulting. Amy will be sharing with us how to calculate Customer Lifetime Value with Python.

Amy will be sharing how to model customer lifetime value with Python - lifetimes package, negative CLV, implementation with PyMC3, interpretation of results, comparison with other methods.
Please bring a food item to share. Beverages will be provided, but non-alcoholic drinks only at this facility. But hey, it's in Ybor!

6:00pm-6:30pm – Refreshments and Networking
6:30pm-7:30pm – Presentation and Discussion
7:30pm-8:00pm – Networking

Free parking is available in the lot located directly North of the ECC building. Please do not park in front of the ECC facility.

The end time is firm since it's a county facility but hey, like I said, it's in Ybor! Three blocks north of The Columbia. Can you say, "after party?"
