The State of Fabric Monitoring by Artur König

A lot is happening in Fabric Monitoring:

- FUAM was released as unified solution for many monitoring challenges replacing the "old" monitoring templates
- Real-Time-Capabilities of Fabric can be used for Workspace Monitoring (replacing Azure Log Analytics) and Streaming from Fabric Workspaces

This session will give an overview of the existing solutions
and discuss the existing possibilities. There are still some challenges to take on top of these "out-of-the-box" templates regarding the data lineage and unified tracking of events.
I will show the output of the different solutions and show some good practises and how I used them in real projects.

The use-cases are still:
- performance tracking
- capacity monitoring
- administration and lineage of artifacts
- user administration
- identification of problems

I will use my own solution in Fabric and Power BI built on top of FUAM and other sources and brings the different perspectives of monitoring together.
