As VP Europe at Geospatial World and a former senior advisor at BEREC and the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, he played a key role in the development of the European Digital Decade and Data Strategy.
Bert thrives at the intersection of business, law, and technology - believing that regulation isn’t a hurdle, but a launchpad for innovation. He’s now preparing to launch his own consultancy to bridge policy and practice in the data economy.

He brings deep insight into how regulation creates business opportunity -and a love for seeing it all mapped out.
