Visualising SG COVID-19 Spread

Details
Hi,
We're having a double talk this month to make up for the one we missed in May! A big thanks to Hui Xiang and Hui Shun for this presentation!
Synopsis:
For this virtual talk, we will be sharing a visualization based on this dataset:
https://data.world/hxchua/public-places-visited-in-singapore-by-covid-19-cases
With the data published by MOH on public places that had been visited by Covid-19 cases during their infectious period, we can visualize the spread of Covid-19 in Singapore geospatially across time. The visualization is updated on a daily basis.
Points that will be touched on include:
- Why create the visualization in the first place?
- Insights gleaned from the viz
- Technology used in creating the viz
- The steps undertaken (and tried)
- Issues, problems, and lessons learnt
