To celebrate the launch of the Sydney AI Hub, we will have a talk from Jack Zhao, one of the founders of the incomparable data viz firm, Small Multiples. If you're even a little bit interested in data visualisation you won't want to miss this one!
Abstract:
The world is inundated with information. Making sense of the world is hard.
In this talk, Jack will present his journey of trying (and sometimes failing) to see the world with clarity through demonstration of data visualisation projects that he had done over the years.

About the presenter
Jack Zhao is a data visualisation designer and co-founder at Small Multiples. In his role, Jack leads the creative direction and delivery of projects for Small Multiples’ government, media and innovative businesses. He is responsible for investigating new ways to communicate stories through data. Jack brings over ten years’ experience in digital services. With a particular interest in genetics and cartography, he has been guest lecturing at the University of Sydney and University of Technology Sydney.
