Data Visualization Bremen Meetup number 6 will arrive shortly! 🎉

On november 14th, we´ll have our next data viz meetup which will take place at neusta HQ. This time, we´ll talk about shiny, an open source tool available in R and Python to build standalone applications on a webpage, embed interactive charts in Markdown documents, or build dashboards, while having the freedom of using everything R and Python can do.

Here is the agenda:

  • Niels Ohlsen gives an Introduction to Shiny basics and useful extensions
  • Thomas Pfister demonstrates an usecase of a Shiny-App that was developed at statistisches Landesamt Bremen and give insights to the development process
  • Open discussion

Like always, we encourage you to share any experience with us (on a tool, project, WIP), reach out and we can make it work.

This event is in person and free of charge. We will start at 18:00 and finish the main program by 19:30, with the option to stay a bit longer to chat. Please sign up for the event, so we can estimate how many people are joining.

As usual, feel free to bring your colleagues and friends! We look forward to meeting you soon 👋
