Title: Find your best place to live using full-stack data analytics

Description: The grass is always greener on the other side. In this presentation, Andrey Mikhalchuk will use the power of data extraction, analysis, and visualization to find the greenest grass in the world specifically for you. He will demonstrate an interactive data visualization system that combines dozens of datasets and parameters to visualize different components of what makes a place “the best". Starting from the entire world and drilling down to individual US counties, we will touch on philosophical, legal and technical details about how to quantify “best”, get the right data and make it usable.

Bio: Andrey Mikhalchuk is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Craftus, a Virginia company that specializes in full-stack data extraction, analytics and visualization solutions. Some of the products he is currently working on include enterprise analytics, healthcare analytics, visualizations of political and economic trends, and cybersecurity. He has a Summa Cum Laude Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and channels his passion for making the world a better place into creating data analytics systems that can empower decision-makers and improve lives.
