***** About Sandra Becker *****
Sandra is a visual researcher with more than 10 years of experience in designing analytical solutions within social- and trend research in Germany, UK and Spain.
In 2015 Sandra discovered the power of data visualization, and ever since is working, learning, teaching, researching and experimenting about new possibilities to explore and represent data, with a special focus and love for d3.js. After leading the global data visualization training for a data consultancy she started her freelancer career as a data visualization professor, designer and consultant in 2017.
Her motivation is to understand and transmit the complexity of our world in order to find the best possible solutions as well as being a contributor to the collaborative community around visual art, coding and research.

***** About Beatriz Malveiro *****
Beatriz Malveiro is a mathematician who always took too long adjusting fonts and color schemes for plots in dull LaTeX documents. She has a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico and took on several graphic design projects throughout university. After graduating she merged both these interests and dived into the field of data visualization. Nowadays, Beatriz works as a Data Visualization Engineer at Feedzai where she equips data scientists and fraud analysts with dataviz tools to fight fraud.
