Impactful data art and Data story client co-creation

Details
This event brings together two perspectives on the role of data in storytelling and design.
Flowers of Beslan is a handcrafted memorial honoring the 334 victims of the 2004 Beslan school siege, including 186 children. Each paper poppy in the installation represents an individual, with features such as petal color, size, and placement conveying their age, gender, fate, and family connections. Installed in the gym of School No.1, where the attack took place.
Created by Nina Lindell with support from the "Mothers of Beslan" Committee, the project offers a visual and spatial record of loss and memory.
In From Spreadsheet to data story through client Co-creation Sara will share insights from her work as a concept developer at Datastory, where she turn clients’ data into interactive, story-driven web applications.
