(re)Launch night: projects, charities and social

Our first meetup session as DataKind Dublin!

The Open Data Science Ireland (ODSI) meetup group has evolved Pokemon-style, and joined the global DataKind movement to become the Dublin chapter. We are one of 5 new chapters worldwide, including Bangalore, Singapore, San Francisco, and Washington DC, (New York City and the UK started it all). At this session we will be discussing our mission and plan for the next 6 months.

• What is DataKind?

• Who are DataKind globally?

• What projects have Dublin already done?

• What are we now planning to do?

• Which charities are involved?

• How can you get involved?

A couple of charities will also be speaking - introducing a handful of potential projects we may wish to collectively work upon at the DataDive in December.

At 8pm we'll pack up and head over to Odessa Bar at 14 Dame Court for a drink and the chance to discuss DataKind Dublin in more detail.
