**Purpose:**
For most businesses and organizations, data analytics and business intelligence is used to support mandatory business functions. For data scientists, the tools and technologies are ever-changing.
Join the experts from our program in discussing current trends and topics in the analytics field, including AI and ML, data science, business analytics, systems design, database management, data mining, and more..

Free parking is available in the lot located directly North of the ECC building. Please do not park in front of the ECC facility.

**About our Speaker:**
Sri has held leadership roles in different Organizations across Data Engineering, Data Analytics and Software Engineering over the past 17+ years. He has led Cloud Transformation effort at Nielsen and SurveyMonkey to modernize the Data Platform. 

Sri is extremely passionate about Data and Leadership and defines his impact based on the success of the teams he is leading. As part of his continuous effort to giving back to the community, Sri is providing mentorship through Topmate and Plato and is actively engaged as an Advisor and Speaker for the University of South Florida Business Analytics program students. 

Sri is also serving as an Advisor for the “Transformative Leadership in Disruptive times” program from Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University

**Topic Summary:** 
There is no good predictive (ML), descriptive or prescriptive Business Insights or Analytics without good quality and timely data. For us to have good quality and timely data, there is a need for a solid Data Engineering and Data Infrastructure that will scale to the needs of the Business. 

In this presentation, Sri will be walking us through what an end-to-end Data Platform at Scale looks like, essential components of a Data Platform and the future state of a high-velocity Data Platform. Sri will also be providing us an overview of Snowflake Data Cloud and why it is powerful.
