Overview: From Proof of Concept to Production systems – We are trying to create an MLOps process to move predictive projects inside of DELWP past the proof of concept phase and into systems which are easy to deploy, maintain, and improve. We recently undertook a project with ARQ and Databricks to move our lightning ignition model from RStudio on a VM into Databricks and MLFlow. We’ll share our lessons learned, likes, dislikes, and everything in between.
Bio: Evie Eker and Stephen Deutsch are Data Scientists within the Data Insights at DELWP. They are responsible for supporting data science and research problems related to how DELWP prepares and responds to bushfires.
