[Score a Career in Sports Analytics] Sports analytics is a collection of relevant, historical, statistics that can provide a competitive advantage to a team or individual. Through the collection and analysis of these data, sports analytics inform players, coaches and other staff in order to facilitate decision making both during and prior to sporting events.

[About the Insider Series] Data Science field is a big field with many career choices such as data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, ML engineer, applied scientist, data science manager, chief data officer, etc. In order to help people better understand the field, an insider view series is born to give a sneak peek into the day-to-day tasks, responsibilities of different career choices, in different sectors and types of companies.
