Zendesk takes a fresh approach to customer support software by providing a suite of practical, yet sophisticated tools with a modern and intuitive design. By leveraging the power of machine learning, Zendesk believes that customer support can be an effortless, futuristic experience for everyone.
The application of machine learning at Zendesk is made possible by its unique set of data that flows from customer support interactions. This data is used to train and deploy tens of thousands of models every day to production at scale. It is also used to explore the application of cutting edge machine learning techniques, such as deep learning and custom online clustering, intended to bring the highest quality AI driven experience to our customers.
Speaking will be Paul Gradie M.S. PhD, a data scientist at Zendesk in Melbourne Australia. Paul holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne where he researched the genetics of reproductive development. At Zendesk he contributes to the Answer Bot service, which uses deep learning to connect end users to information stored in Zendesk Guide instances. Paul is currently researching approaches to enhance the Answer Bot’s multilingual capability and will speak about the incredible datasets available and research projects being undertaken at Zendesk as well as exciting opportunities as part of the data science team here in the Copenhagen office.
