🩻 Image-aware Evaluation of Generated Medical Reports
This talk will introduce VLScore, a novel evaluation metric for generating medical reports from X-ray images, addressing limitations of current methods by incorporating both textual and clinical aspects alongside the corresponding image. We will also present a new dataset designed to evaluate metrics, showcasing how VLScore aligns with radiologists' judgments and highlighting weaknesses in existing evaluation approaches.

🩺 Innovative Algorithm Development for Clinical Features
GE HealthCare's Haifa team develops AI features for Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS), bringing high-quality imaging to mobile, bedside devices. In this talk, we will showcase tools designed to assist users by automating complex measurements and highlighting regions of interest in ultrasound images. We will also discuss the challenges faced during development and how they were addressed.
