Problem statements are as follows. Also, a workshop will be hosted prior to the hackathon.
When:
Wed, 15th July: Webinar session
Fri, 17th July: Workshop
Weekend 18th& 19th July: Hackathon
Prizes - INR 100,000 and INR 50,000 each.
Problem Statement #1
Social Media identity mapping - identifying internal customers on social media (facebook / linkedin / twitter) for enriching customer profile through life stage / life event information like anniversaries / engagements / marriages / job change / city change / child birth / new asset purchase etc. There are 2 distinct stages in this - mapping the social media identity and tracking the identified profile for significant life events. The success metric will be the % right match and incidences of significant events captured from their social media profile
Problem Statement #2
Propensity model development –the client has a couple of use cases where they have not been able to get 80% response capture in top 3 deciles / >3X lift in the top decile - inspite of several iterations. The expectation here would be identification of any new technique / algorithm (apart from logistic regression), which can help get the desired model performance.
