For people outside COEP, entry is strictly through this application form and approval process only, walk-ins not allowed. We are only taking in people who have extensive hands-on work experience in the relevant fields and are ready to do things. You will be contacted by organisers after submitting the form.

This is not a competition. It's a hackathon where all the participants have to collaborate and work as a team. The overall mission is to strengthen accessibility, quality and reach of Open Data in India.

We will have clear, specific tasks and tangible, achievable outcomes. The successful outcomes (irrespective of number) shall be hosted and published by the Pune Open Data Portal and in other networks and the people who did it will be credited for their work.

The details of the tasks will be shared with participants in the week leading up to the event, and you are encouraged to start work earlier if you can. There will be an open Telegram group where all participants can communicate with each other and self-organise.

At the event, it's possible that to manage numbers and logistics you may be assigned a task different than what you originally wanted to do. By registering for this event you are consenting that you're ok with that.
