Description:
We will explore the relationship between the weather and the number of mosquitos seen that year using Pandas and Matplotlib. Pandas is a Python package that provides expressive data structures designed to make working with 'relational' data both easy and intuitive. Matplotlib is another tool for the learning data scientist used to create quick and powerful visualizations.

About our Speaker:
David Dotson (https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-dotson-ph-d-8999a414) is a research software engineer for the Beckstein Lab (http://becksteinlab.physics.asu.edu/) in the Center for Biological Physics (http://biophysics.asu.edu/) at Arizona State University. He specializes in developing software tools for answering biological questions with molecular dynamics simulations. He is a Pythonista, Linux nerd, and a loud-and-proud advocate for the use of open source software in science.
