Speaker Bio :

Chris Fregly is a Research Scientist at PipelineIO - a Streaming Analytics and Machine Learning Startup in San Francisco.

Chris is an Apache Spark Contributor, Netflix Open Source Committer, Founder of the Global Advanced Spark and TensorFlow Meetup, and Author of the Upcoming Book, Advanced Spark.

Previously, Chris was a Streaming Data Engineer at Databricks and Netflix - as well as a Founding Member of the IBM Spark Technology Center in San Francisco.

Jayant Thomas (JT) is the Sr.Engineering Manager for the Predix Apps for GE. He is responsible for building IoT SaaS applications using Predix platform, and specializes in building microservies based architecture, reactive, event-driven systems. JT holds more than 12 patents in the speech language processing and multimodal application architectures. When not hacking code JT spends time with kids and enjoys crossfit training and kick boxing.

Shyam is Industrial Internet / IoT Architect at GE Digital, since 2013. His focus areas are Big Data Analytics and IoT Architecture for Aviation industry. Prior to GE, he worked at companies like IBM, Oracle, Deloitte & Halliburton. He is actively involved in Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). He Co-Chairs:Standards and Interoperability Working GroupIT OT Work Group

His education involves:B Tech (EE) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)MBA and MS (Computer Sc) from Florida Atlantic Univ
