JerusML Meetup #9 - AI and creative machines

In this meetup Dr. Eyal Gruss will give a fascinating lecture on creating art with deep learning techniques. Dr. Gruss will also show us live demos and will create a new logo for the JerusML community.
Dr. Eyal Gruss is a new-media artist and a machine learning researcher. He is a Talpiot graduate and did his Ph.D. in theoretical physics. His works combine AI and digital-art to create interactive installations and computer generated art.

The event will take place in the beautiful historic building of the Hansen House Center for Media, Design and Technology.

The lecture will be given in Hebrew.

Join us to hear about deep learning techniques and some of their applications in art, have snacks and meet the JerusML community!

Title: Neural Psychedelic Aesthetics - Deep Learning for Creative Machines:
Abstract: Deep learning technology and generative neural networks have just started the age of creative machines. We will review the latest state-of-the-art applications of deep learning in image processing, text generation, design, creativity and art. We will do some live demos of computer generated art and create a new logo for our group.
