Wouldn't it be great to have a friendly, stress-free environment to meet potential dates, without the rigmarole of online dating? You must try this new craze: offline dating! Often you can tell more about a person within a few seconds of meeting than you can after weeks of back and forth online. Who has time for that these days! Let's put down our phones and connect in real life.
We do professionally run events where you're guaranteed to meet a host of singles in your age category, at some of the finest venues in Brisbane. Meetup groups can be hit and miss, but not in this case. We often get more people attending than the event would suggest due to website searches and Facebook (ads). What started as a Meetup group has expanded into other frontiers: check out our webpage: www.ignitedates.com With the aid of our additional platforms we are able to run many events; catering for different tastes and budgets and assisting you in making connections with people you've met before.
The age group we cater for is typically between 20s and 50s, though occasionally we'll have a 60+ event or unrestricted age group. Members will be introduced to each other and encouraged to mingle and meet as many people as possible.
A big advantage of speed dating is not having to ask for people's phone numbers, which can put one on the spot. Instead you simply fill in your match card and the host will contact you the next day with your matches - it's like old-fashioned tinder :) As well as speed dating, where you'll meet everyone in attendance at the event (of the opposite gender), we strive to find interesting activities for people to bond over such as wine tasting, art classes or a river cruise.

Byron Bay (private) bus day trip

Amazing beaches, coastline walks and nature combines in Byron with that Byron Vibe that can’t be appreciated without seeing and experiencing it for yourself. Join us on our private airconditioned minibus as we do all the driving and parking; showing you the sights of Byron.
For the first stop for this trip, we’re going to The Farm at Byron Bay. As well as cows, chickens and pigs, The Farm has lots of local produce as well as a cafe and bakery where we can fill up on caffeine.
Next we’ll head to the scenic Lighthouse walk at the Eastern most point of Australia, where there’s a good chance you’ll spot dolphins off the coast (not the season for whales!). If you don’t feel like doing the walk, there is the cafe there and whale museum with some amazing photos of the local area. The views from this point are spectacular.
After the Lighthouse we’ll head to Byron Bay and the Beach Hotel for lunch. The Beach Hotel is a very popular spot, that often has live music on weekends.
In the afternoon it’s beach time! You’ll have lots of time to go for a swim, laze on the beach or acquire some Byron fashion from local outlets or go for a picturesque walk on the beach.
Itinerary:
8:00 Depart Brisbane Roma St Stop 125
9:45 Arrive at The Farm and have a look at the animals and shops there
11:00 Arrive at the Byron Bay Lighthouse.
12:45 Lunch at The Beach Hotel
2:00 Free time at the beach in Byron, shopping or just soaking up the Byron Bay vibes
4:30 Meet to head back to Brisbane.
6:30 Arrive back in Brisbane
Please be on time for the bus in the morning, as if you’re late we won’t
be able to wait! We meet you at Roma St Bus stop 125, opposite the
Police Station, near Makerston St.
