Quiet down our mind and slowly analyze our own situations: what are the realities in life that we are not willing to face, what are the unstable factors hidden in life, and what are the causes that lead to these realities or factors. Among our actions, what are inviting trouble, what are meaningless, and what will become part of our trouble in future. Analyze these clearly.
Once we understand these problems, we can take as look at Buddha’s teachings and see how he guides us to remove our sufferings and causes of sufferings, compare them with the different problems of ours, and use the different answers (from the teachings) to solve our problems. Know your current situation more and more clearly. Stay away from fabrication and exaggeration. No more hiding; instead have the courage to face your shortcomings or flaws directly. Have all the virtue generated in each cultivation gradually change the obvious and hidden sufferings. Merge the virtue into your mind, accumulate and preserve it.

About our Teacher:
Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche is the lineage holder of the Manjushri Lineage, and a Lineage Guru of the Gelug Stages of the Path to Enlightenment. Rinpoche’s teachings help students understand their current situation and how to apply antidotes to their existing afflictions. Under his guidance, students learn how to understand the original form and meaning of Dharma in Buddha’s time.
According to Rinpoche, Bodhisattva’s Garland of Gems represents the pure style of mind training in Lama Atisha’s Old Kadampa Lineage, and also clearly specifies a practical method for the stages of the cultivation path. He leads students to gain a clear understanding of their lives, to be honest to themselves, to treat and follow cause and effect carefully, and to understand the purpose of Buddhist cultivation. Generating the Kadampa qualities of humility, honesty, kindness, and purity as a foundation, one can enter into the true cultivation of the Bodhi Path.
