If you’re familiar with the marketing side of data you’re probably quite skeptical about vanity metrics like “engagement”: too vague to be meaningful or useful. But what if your success isn’t simply making a checkout funnel work or working out which ads are working? How do you get vague numbers to tell you what needs to change?
Product Analytics is less about working out where traffic comes from and more about making the entire experience work. It’s an iterative approach to improvement guided by slippery metrics like engagement, retention and customer lifetime value.
