On Sunday November 2 from 3pm – 5pm we’ll gather to walk a labyrinth — slowly, intentionally — in a beautiful setting in Greenville, SC.
The labyrinth is not a maze. There are no wrong turns. Just one winding path that leads inward to the center… and then gently brings us back out again.
Do you need a safe space to fully acknowledge all you and your loved ones have lived through this past month or year? Is there a special person you would like to honor, to give the gift of holding them in your thoughts and prayers? We welcome you. And we invite you to this very unique gathering in Greenville.
Come walk the labyrinth.
A labyrinth walk is a form of moving meditation that can facilitate grieving and provide an opening for healing. “Walking the labyrinth clears the mind and gives insight into the spiritual journey,” states Dr. Lauren Artress, author of Walking a Sacred Path. It helps us realize that we are not human beings on a spiritual path but spiritual beings on a human path. Join us for this very special gathering to honor our ancestors and set intentions for our own journey in this lifetime. This year we have the special opportunity to walk a beautiful private labyrinth in Greenville.
What should I bring?
All that is required is your beautiful self. Some enjoy bringing a journal as a way to process what they have experienced after walking the labyrinth. The setting is outdoors in nature so bring anything you’d like to make yourself comfortable such as a hat, sunglasses, jacket, gloves or blanket. There is room to ground yourself and chairs are provided.
*Note: this event is not held at Dawn Retreat Center. Register to get the private Greenville, SC address and directions. Children 16 and older are welcomed.
