We will meet in the parking lot of The Shoppes at Susquehanna Marketplace, 2547 Brindle Dr · Harrisburg, PA at 7:30 AM to arrange carpools. This is very important for this hike because we will need all drivers to have an SUV or high clearance vehicle.

Travel time from there to shuttle point is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The shuttle from that point to Jack's Mt SGL parking is 45 minutes.

The hike is approximately 6.5 miles and begins near the top of Jacks Mountain. Highlights of this section are Butler's Knob, Hall of the Mountain King, King's Chambers, and the Throne Room. The elevation gain on this hike is 900 ft. The trail is rocky in spots so trekking poles will be beneficial.

This is not a hike for beginners. As always we will wait for all hikers at the top of all climbs. Bring lunch and water. We will stop at the mid point of the hike for a lunch break.
