Day Ones Thursday Night Soccer Scrimmage!

We'll be the 9 pm group (there is usually a club team right before us). Just go to the sidelines to check in with the organizer Yong or his proxy. Look for the small sided goals on the sidelines!

Code of Conduct:

• Show up early. Being late potentially sets your whole team back a game or more.
• Be respectful to your fellow player. Banter and chirping is fine but outright disrespect is not.
• Respect the rules of the scrimmage.
• Clean up after yourself and help with setup and takedown. Everyone is responsible for keeping the field in good condition and maximizing time on the field.
• No vaping/smoking anywhere on the premises.
• No food on the pitch or sidelines, use the picnic area to eat if need be.

Game rules:

1. 7 minute games or first team to 2 goals (depending on the amount of teams or unless we're playing a large game.
2. No team stays on for more than 3 games in a row.
3. Absolutely no slide tackling.
4. Call your own fouls, and respect the calls when they're made. The ball gets taken out at the spot of the foul.
5. Teams waiting on the sidelines are responsible for shagging loose balls.
6. Teams will be mixed up by a randomizer or to allow for an even distribution of skill across the board. If there is one player you REALLY want to pair with, let the organizer know in advance.
7. No attacking players inside of the box. If the ball is on the line, it's the goalie's.
8. Scrimmage will end 10 minutes before the rental time is over to account for cleanup and breakdown of the goals.

Failure to abide by the code of conduct will get players flagged and eventually banned if the flagged behavior continues.
