Whether you're an armchair traveler or have circumnavigated the globe this group will satisfy your wanderlust with meetings, travelogues and 100's of travel events. Ulele (pronounced You-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the young princess Ulele. Expect intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on the 10' diameter barbacoa grill. On Tampa's Riverwalk.
Ulele is a native-inspired restaurant and brewery, using fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and other proteins from Florida when they are available, just as my ancestors did.
Open since August 2014, Ulele sits on the banks of the Hillsborough River next to the Ulele Spring. It is adjacent to the Water Works Park, which has been transformed into a family-friendly park thanks to our Tampa Mayor and City Council.
Sure, Florida is a treasure trove of sun, surf, and sand.
But let’s not forget the quirky and unexpected finds tucked away in its urban landscapes.
Today, we’re venturing into the heart of Tampa to uncover a whimsical wonder that’s as surprising as finding a snow cone stand in a sauna.
So, grab your explorer’s hat, and let’s discover the magic of Perry Harvey Sr. Park, an 11-acre haven where art, history, and playfulness meet under the Florida Sun,the kind of place that whispers stories of the past while winking at the playful soul within each of us.
Imagine strolling through a green oasis where massive sculptures seem to spring from the earth like whimsical giants playing hide and seek.
Plus Safety Harbor Indian Mounds and check out the lawn decoration of the Whimseyland House and Ybor City highlights.
