What we’re about
Welcome to Days’ End Films, a not-for-profit filmmaking group where we're all about creating films for sheer enjoyment.
We don’t have much of a budget… but then, that's not why we are here.
We cannot offer you Hollywood, just Greenwich. And hopefully friendship and camaraderie along the way. Our short, creative films are funded by our occasional work and by the membership fees of our local film collaborative in Greenwich. We want to make short films to see local actors and local crew (including ourselves!) get their credits up on screen and build their reels. If that interests you, then please consider coming along and taking part.
And if you’re a local artist or musician and want some help with some filmed content, or just want to showcase your hobby or website, please get in touch. We just love filming.
Featured event

Workshop - Camera Angles, Shot Lists and Storyboards
An evening workshop for those wanting to collaborate on one of our forthcoming films!
We will be covering Camera Angles, Shot Lists and Storyboards.
The second half of the evening will be an opportunity for members to storyboard, create a shot list and film a very short scene - so we'll need someone to be director, camera operator and a couple of actors!
The workshop takes place in the convivial atmosphere of a private room in a local hostelry. Food and drink will be available at the bar!
When you enter the venue, ask for "Richard" or "Days' End Films" and the staff will direct you!
Please feel free to bring a camera to play around with as we go - but a camera and related equipment will be available on the night!
If you are using your phone to film, you may wish to download an app called "Filmic Pro".
If you are new to the group, please have a look at our website and consider getting involved in our next short film! We're a very friendly bunch but we've not been going long and we're looking for new members! Don't worry if you know nothing about filming - that's what we're here to learn!
