Having recently shot our first film as a group, it's time to consolidate and get back to basics - in this case a workshop on the science of how a camera works.

We'll be exploring what all those weird numbers mean: f-stops, ISO, lens lengths... and what the hell is a shutter speed??

We have a new location for our meetings, so come along and learn a little about filmmaking in a relaxed and convivial environment.

If you have a camera, even your 'phone, do come along and have a play. We'll have a professional camera and a small lighting rig to have a play with too.

Food and drink will be available, but the workshop itself is in a private room. (Due to the deal I have with the landlord, it's expected that participants will buy something from the bar.) As you enter the venue, ask for "Richard" or "Days' End Films" and they will direct you to the room.

There's a small fee for each workshop - this is to cover the cost of hiring the room and to provide a small budget for our next film, which we will be making on Saturday, September 6th.
