Thurs 18 Sept. Meet for coffee, tea &/or light snack or pastry, on 18C sunny-ish day @Sir Charles on Johnston St Fitzroy; just east of Brunswick St/Johnston St intersection. My Phone 0402816644.
Sir Charles decor features lots of white, & wood, & is appealing.
Food wise there's large range of savoury, & sweet, items in the counter display cabinets. A full dine-in menu is also available (that's bit pricy tho).

After our cafe meetup, you may like to check out Cheaper by Miles (packaged) groceries clearance store, next door. (Or if u are in the area earlier, you might like check it out before the cafe meetup).
Lots of snack foods, biscuits, cheeses. & a variety of other things; some close to use by, but many also have a few months before use-by date; & many are best-before dates which are still good for few or more months.

Getting There:
#11 Tram along Brunswick St. [#11 Route runs from Collins St CBD to St Georges Rd Thornbury/Preston)
Alternate: 200/207 Bus Along Johnston St. [200/207 runs from Latrobe St, via Lygon St to along Johnston St.

Parking: On street - don't even try; unless u know some back streets with 2 hour spots but not much, on weekdays (plus takes 10 minutes to read /figure out the 3 different times/durations on the signs.
Parking Station: At (back of) Coles on Johnston St, enter via Argyle St off Brunswick St. Very reasonable Rate $5 for 2 hours, $7 for 3 hours.
