This is a get together to attend an event at Yarnies and Swag, a local yarn store in Englewood. Below is a snippet from the website Sit and Stitch page:
"Sit & Stitch is completely free to attend and is simply a time to do what you love with people that love it too. It is intended as social gathering, not a class, but I've definitely learned a lot during these get togethers. We're always happy to help if you're confused, frustrated, need help fixing a mistake, or in need of an opinion or six.
All fiber crafts are welcome. We don't care if you knit, crochet, weave, spin, felt, macrame, cross stitch, quilt, or serve as a human yarn bowl for your yarn loving friend."

After chatting with Alyssa Yarnies will be offering crochet 101 from 7:30 to 8:30 for anyone who is looking to learn something new!
The price for the class is $45 which includes supplies, you'll learn the basics of crochet and get a skein of yarn and a hook during the class. class. It'll overlap with Sit and Stitch so everybody can be there with you!
This event is going to be A great place to meet new friends, or hang out with the ones you bring, and a fun place to share your love for crafting, or to just learn something new!
As a reminder, the event itself is free, Alyssa is just being kind enough to offer the class in case there's anyone in the group that would love to join but doesn't know where to start.
