The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) is a 47-year-old, 501c(3) Non-profit, All-volunteer, Social Service Organization, most commonly known as a Computer User Group.
Founded in April 1976, the DMA is one of the oldest continuously-meeting computer user groups in the world and is the oldest in Southern Ohio. The DMA's mission is to promote interest in and knowledge of all facets of computer technology, to encourage education in computing technologies, and provide a medium for communication between individuals, product developers, and the public.
The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) holds an online/in-person monthly general meeting the last Tuesday of each month (except in December) about a wide range of technology topics.
All DMA meetings are free and open to the public. There may be admission charges for some events in which the DMA volunteers participate, either as presenters or as guests.

The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) is a member of The Association of Personal Computer User Groups, Inc. (APCUG), whose mission is to facilitate communication among computer user groups, the community, and the technology industry.

Proxmox Virtual Environment is an open source server virtualization management solution based on QEMU/KVM and LXC. You can manage virtual machines, containers, highly available clusters, storage and networks with an integrated, easy-to-use web interface or via CLI. Proxmox VE code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3. The project is developed and maintained by Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH.
Mike Linden will cover installation and some basic configuration steps to get you up and running on Proxmox.

The Dayton Linux Users Group, a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Dayton Microcomputer Association, meets the 3rd Thursday of the month Online.
At our monthly meetings (http://www.dma1.org/linux/meeting-information/), we may have one or more presentation topics planned, or we simply discuss news and projects of interest to our members. (We’re working on planning presentations for more of our meetings, and could use some volunteers — hint, hint!). Our attendees include anyone from experienced Linux system administrators to those who have been hearing about Linux and want to learn more.
