Dayton: A Study in Psalms--Psalm 7 and 8
Details
When one has real and deadly enemies who seek to harm, kill, and destroy, the world can seem a very bleak place, with no hope to found in any direction. Psalms 3 through 6 paint a very clear picture of a man who knew what it is to have real and dangerous enemies, and the only right, safe and wise response to such evil--to run to God, Who does all things rightly and well.
Psalm 7 makes this hope abundantly clear--evil will be defeated, and God's righteousness will be victorious. Psalm 8 is a spontaneous, joyful, response of praise to God--the God Who created all things, the God Who uses children and infants to silence His enemies, because He can, because He is righteous, because He is powerful, because He is good.
We will continue our study in Psalms, looking at chapters 7 and 8, 6:30 pm, June 18, Panera Bread, The Greene, in Beavercreek. We would love to have you join us!
