Let's go fly a kite at the Kite Festival near Oxford, Ohio

UPDATE as of 10:10 AM: PLEASE update your RSVP if you are not coming to this event so I am not looking for you.

UPDATE as of 9:30 AM Sunday: I am still planning on going. I checked the weather for wind speed. It is stating wind should be 10 mph at 2:00 PM. I looked online and the wind speed only needs to be 6-12 mph for the type of kites we have.

I have been wanting to go fly a kite for quite a while and found this event on Facebook.

I plan on buying a kite (probably on Amazon).

I spoke with the owner, Jennifer, and she said this is the 6th year they have been doing this. They have an open field for everyone. She did say with all the rain we have had lately, it might be a good idea to wear boots or at least have a change of shoes.

I also plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket. We can also bring a cooler with lunch and drinks.

Jennifer did ask that we do not smoke (due to the straw) and PLEASE NO PETS (due to her farm animals).

7 Wonders Farm is family owned and they grow their own veggies, meats and flowers which are also for sale.
