Bill Yeck Beautiful Spring Evening Thursday Hike! SMITH HOUSE ENTRANCE

So we're going to try this again. Besides, THIS hike actually qualifies for a trail siren alert! Mostly sunny, lower 60s when we start this hike, a light breeze! It's going to be too gorgeous of a day to sit at home! There WILL be MUD on the trails, but not of the kind that sucks your boots off your feet. I know where all the less muddy trails are, and we'll stick to those. You may want your water bottle, and also hiking boots or hiking shoes since there may be a creek crossing or two using mostly large rocks. There will likely be a bit of mud. PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO PAVED TRAILES FOR THIS HIKE. I do have an alternate route in mind if the water level is high. You may also want trekking poles. The pace for this hike will be about 2.8 mph on somewhat hilly terrain in some places. This hike will be about 3 - 3.5 miles in length. You may want to bring a change of shoes for your drive home.
