Some of you may have visited the Garver Family Farm in the past during pumpkin season or for fresh produce. They have opened a store which now houses their market, a deli, and wine!

Let's celebrate May Day (a couple days late), by gathering at the Garver Farm to do a little shopping, lunch at the deli, and maybe a glass of wine and we can wander around and explore their farm!

They have had a tough year and they are finally allowing people to help them recover from all they have (and continue to) go through. By patronizing their establishment, we can show our support! Below is their story if you care to read it ... I copied and pasted it here off of their Facebook page.

For 100 years, our family has done things one way, we show up, we work hard, and we take care of others.
Asking for anything in return has never been part of that.
Over the past year, we’ve had more people than we can count reach out, asking how they can support Garver Family Farm Market.
Truthfully, we didn’t have an answer. It has always been "just keep sharing our story, just keep supporting local!"
Recently, news of our legal battle with local government has went nationwide- folks from across the country are emailing, calling and asking how even they can be of support to our small business.
When we expanded our business, we planned for inconveniences, life tends to throw those from time to time. This year has brought challenges we never could have planned for. A devastating crop season. A sudden and on-going, life-threatening health crisis with one of our owners. And most recently, a legal battle to protect our farm and everything it stands for.
Through it all, we’ve continued forward the only way we know how, by putting our people first and doing whatever it takes to keep this place going.
Right now, that means every dollar we bring in is going right back into this farm- our employees, our operations, and the legal fight to protect it.
So for those who have asked how to stand behind us, this is one way. Through Suzy’s health scare, and through the constant fight with government, you all have remained steadfast by our side. Offering help in more ways than one. We have politely turned down this request time after time when it has been mentioned, but we would like to open the door for the many of you with gracious hearts, who have asked to support us monetarily.
With over 25,000 Facebook followers, just $1 could make huge impacts in an effort to put this difficult year behind us for good, so we can proceed with serving our customers and community the best we can.
Today is National Ag Day.
