5 Rivers - Oakwood High School

5 Rivers Running Club, one of our sister running groups in the Dayton area, has a Saturday morning run every week starting in front of Mack Hummon Stadium at Oakwood High School (Shantz and Dellwood). The run is hosted by Jeff Lucas.

They usually get 20 or so runners out every week, all of varying paces.
They start right at 8am, so if you are late they will be gone; they are not as forgiving as the DRC.
They have several different 6-8 miles hilly routes. The courses are marked with chalk most of the time. There are 3 regular routes that are not marked but there are enough runners that do and will help you along.
