GCSS is Dayton's newest place where active young professionals from all over the city can come to meet and compete. From kickball leagues to insider deals to bar crawls, we are sure to keep your calendar full and your social life booming. Whether you were born and raised in Dayton or new to the city, we've got a league for you. Grab your college buds, dust off your old jerseys and register a team in any one of our ever-expanding leagues. New to the area and don't have enough people for a league? No problem! Sign up individually and be placed on a team with people just like you, who are looking to get out there and meet new friends. With all levels of play that match any ability, we have a league that is as competitive as you are --- all bragging rights included. After the game, head to one of our many sponsor bars for drink specials and great deals that only GCSS can offer. Celebrate the victory or console your teammates after the upset over some beers. Our social events are like the best first date you never had --- fun and cheap without the awkward conversation. We'll hook you up with amazing parties and awesome drink specials at all your favorite bars throughout the city.

Introducing the Gem City Winter Classic, a special 4-week OUTDOOR co-ed soccer league for players who aren't afraid of a little chill and want to keep the game going through November! ❄️⚽️
This Meetup event is here to spread the word about this unique mini-league. Please note: To actually play in the league, you MUST register and pay through the official Gem City Social Sports website. RSVPing on Meetup does NOT secure your spot on a team.***
### About the Gem City Winter Classic (Thursday League):
- What: A fun, fast-paced 4-week OUTDOOR co-ed social soccer league. Yes, you read that right - bundle up and play under the lights!
- When: Thursday Nights, November 6th - December 4th. (We WILL skip Thursday, November 27th for Thanksgiving).
- Game Times: Games will be scheduled between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Where: The Dayton Kroc Center (1000 N Keowee St) on the Outdoor Turf Fields under the stadium lights.
- Vibe: Social, fun-focused, and welcoming to all skill levels. It's about staying active and having a blast, even when it's cold!

### How to Register & Join a Team:
To play in the Gem City Winter Classic, you must register online. We have three easy ways to join:
1. As a Free Agent (Individual): Perfect if you're signing up solo! Register as a "Free Agent," and we'll place you on a team.
2. As a Small Group: Have a few friends you want to play with? Each person registers individually and then creates or joins a "small group" to ensure you're all placed on the same team.
3. As a Full Team: Got your whole winter-ready squad? A team captain can register and pay for a "Full Team" to reserve all your spots.***
