New To The Web: Getting Started with PHP

Hello everyone! At this meetup I am going to go over the basics of the PHP programming language, and how to get started using it to build websites. PHP is used as a server side language, so there will be a little HTML/CSS/Javascript, but I will not be speaking much on those at this meetup. I will be using the free version of MAMP to develop locally with PHP. MAMP or XAMPP have free versions that allow you easily do local development with PHP. These are not necessary for the meetup, but if you want to be able to run the code, or code along, you will need one of these. We will be meeting in "Conference Room 3A, on the 3rd Floor".
