Would you like to enjoy an organic farming experience while feeling close to nature in Ogawamachi, a town famous for organic farming in Japan?🧑‍🌾

Ogawamachi is a typical Japanese satoyama town surrounded by mountains, but it is also easy to access, and you can come directly by train from Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Yokohama, Shinjuku-sanchome, Musashi-Kosugi, Nakameguro, and more 🚃🌿

On this day, we’ll enjoy an organic farming experience in my farm and make spring rolls together using seasonal bamboo shoots 🧑‍🍳✨
Freshly made handmade spring rolls with seasonal vegetables are very delicious 😋
※We will prepare things like vegetable cutting in advance, so even if you are not really into cooking, feel free to join us! 🌿

After lunch, we’ll enjoy hiking in the forest we manage 🌳✨
After some light exercise in the forest and refreshing ourselves in nature, let’s take a relaxing tea break 🍵

Let’s enjoy handmade yomogi mochi (Japanese mugwort rice cake) and taste the flavors of spring 🌱（The content may change depending on the availability of ingredients.）

10:30-11:15: Organic farming experience at the farm

11:45-13:30: Spring roll cooking & lunch
13:30-14:30: Forest hiking
14:30-15:00: Tea break
15:00-15:30: Return to Ogawamachi Station
(Train example: 15:46 departure / 16:49 arrival at Ikebukuro, or 16:03 departure / 17:17 arrival at Ikebukuro)
*The schedule is a rough estimate. The event will go ahead even with light rain. In case of rain forecast, we’ll decide whether to hold the event a few days in advance and inform you.
＊If you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, etc.), please let us know by direct message at least 10 days before the event.

■ Participation Fee:
・4,500 yen + 500 yen for insurance = 5,000 yen
・The fee covers ingredients for lunch, dessert, and drinks, preparation for activities and cooking, guide support, and the maintenance of the forest we manage.
・Please pay in cash at the meeting point on the day. (We’ll have change available. If you cannot prepare cash, please contact us in advance.)

■ About Insurance:
・Insurance covers medical expenses for injuries.

■ Hiking Course Level:
・Beginner level
・There will be some gentle uphill and downhill areas.
・We’ll walk together at a comfortable pace for everyone.

■ Meeting Place and Time:
・In front of Ogawamachi Station on the Tobu Tojo Line
・*Note: This is Ogawamachi in Saitama, not Ogawamachi in Tokyo.
・10:00 AM. There is a convenience store nearby. Please take care of any shopping or restroom needs before we start.
・We cannot wait for late arrivals, so please be on time. If you think you may be late, please contact us and we’ll send you the route to the farm.

■ Train Access Example:
・You can come directly by train from Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Yokohama, Shinjuku-sanchome, Musashi-Kosugi, Nakameguro, and more.

■ What to Bring & Wear:
・Drinking water
・Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty during farm work
・Hiking shoes are ideal for the forest, but sneakers are also okay
・We will provide work gloves
・A change of clothes if needed (You can change at the lunch place after the farm work or after the forest hike)

■ Application Deadline & Confirmation Deadline:
✅ 10 days before (Thursday, April 9)
✅ We will send a confirmation message to all registered participants. Please reply by the deadline. Those who do not reply will be put on the Wait List.
✅ To avoid food waste, please avoid canceling after confirmation. (If you are sick or injured, please feel free to let us know even at the last minute.)
※Even after the application deadline, a spot may open due to cancellations, so please feel free to message us.

■ Cancellation Policy:
・From 7 days to 4 days before: 20%
・From 3 days to 2 days before: 50%
・1 day before and on the day: 100%

■ Note:
・We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost or stolen items, damages, or other issues that may occur during the event.

The guides speak both Japanese and English, so everyone is welcome, even if you don’t speak either language.

🌳旬のたけのこ春巻き作り体験&有機農業体験と森歩き🌳

日本で有機農業が盛んな町、小川町で自然を感じながら有機農業を体験してみませんか？

小川町は山に囲まれた典型的な日本の里山ですが、池袋、渋谷、横浜、新宿三丁目、武蔵小杉、中目黒などから電車で一本で来ることもできる、アクセスの良い場所です🚃🌿

この日は、私の畑で有機農業体験を楽しみ、旬のたけのこを使った春巻き作りをみんなでします🧑‍🍳✨
旬の野菜を使った出来立ての手作り春巻きは、とっても美味しいです😋
※野菜のカットなどの下準備はこちらで事前にしておくので、調理があまり好きでない方もぜひ！ 🌿

ランチを食べた後は、私たちが管理している森でのハイキングを楽しみます🌳✨
森で軽い運動を行い、自然の中でリフレッシュした後には、ティーブレイクでほっと一息つきましょう🍵

春のよもぎを使った手作りよもぎ餅を食べて、春の味を楽しみましょう🌱（材料の調達状況により、内容が変更になる場合があります）

自然の中で農業体験やハイキング、料理体験を楽しみ、自然好きな仲間との出会いを楽しみましょう😊

■ 参加費:

■ 森でのハイキングコースのレベル:
・初級者レベル
・少し上り坂や下り坂のアップダウンがあります。
・皆でペースを合わせて歩きます。

■ 集合場所と時間
・東武東上線小川町駅の入り口前 ※注意：東京の小川町ではなく埼玉県の小川町です。
・午前10:00。近くにコンビニがあります。必要な物の購入やトイレなど済ませて集合ください。
・遅れて到着された方をお待ちできないので、お時間にお気をつけください。万が一遅れる場合は、ご連絡ください。畑までのルートをお送りします。

■当日利用可能な電車の例：
・池袋、渋谷、横浜、新宿三丁目、武蔵小杉、中目黒などから電車で一本で来れます。

■持ち物、服装
・飲料水
・畑で作業をするので、汚れても問題のない格好で来てください。
・森ではハイキングシューズだと歩きやすいですが、スニーカーで来られる方もいます。
・軍手はこちらで用意します。
・着替えたい方は着替え（畑での農業体験後もしくは森でのハイキング後にランチの場所で着替えることができます）

■申し込み締切&確定期日
✅ 10日前（4月9日木曜日）。
✅ 参加申し込みいただいた方に参加の確認メッセージをお送りするので、確定期日までにご返信お願いします。ご返信がない方はWait List に入れさせていただきます。
✅ 食材の準備を行うため、食材の廃棄に繋がってしまいますので確定後のキャンセルはご遠慮ください。（病気や怪我などの場合は直前でもお気兼ねなくご連絡ください。）
※申し込み期限を過ぎた場合でも、キャンセルなどで枠が空くこともあるので、メッセージください。
