Meeting place: Seibu-Chichibu Line, Koma Station, left side after exiting the ticket gate

●Things to bring:
・Admission fee for Kinchakuda Manjushage Park: 500 yen
・sneaker or trekking shoes, drinking water, lunch (there are also shops at the Kinchida Manjushage Park), Picnic sheet, towel, rainwear (in case)

※You should better bring a picnic sheet.

●Schedule:
Koma Station - Mt.Hiwada - Kinchakuda - Koma Station
End time: Around 3:00 PM (The time may shift)

※If you still have time, we can get some drinks and do picnic by the Kinchakuda or Koma River after!

・ Please be punctual.
・ In case of cancellation, please inform the organizer by 21:00 the day before.
・In case of rain, it may be canceled or rescheduled.

・ Kinchakuda
The name was given to this area as a common name in the olden days because it looks like a kinchaku (a loincloth) when viewed from Mt.Hiwasa.
Kinchada is one of the largest colonies of manjushage in Japan, with 5 million manjushage in full bloom.
When the flowers peak, the area looks like a red carpet has been covered.
The Kinchida Manjushage Festival is held in conjunction with the blooming of the manjushage, and features stalls selling local delicacies and products.

・Mt. Hiwada
Hiwadayama (Mt. Hiwada) is 305 meters above sea level and is well known as a symbol of Hidaka City. Hiking courses are well maintained, and visitors can enjoy various ways to climb the mountain, such as the gentle slope of Women's Slope and the rocky slope of Men's Slope. It is about 2 km to the summit, passing by Kotohira Shrine and a view of the Kinchakuda along the way. From the top, the entire Hidaka City area can be seen. On a clear day, the skyscrapers of Shinjuku and the Tokyo Sky Tree can also be seen.

集合場所：西武秩父線　高麗駅 　改札を出て左側付近

●持ち物：
・巾着田曼珠沙華公園入場料：500円
・スニーカーorトレッキングシューズ、着替え、飲料水、昼飯（巾着田の会場にお店もあります）、ピクニックシート、タオル、レインウェア (in case)

※ピクニックシートを持ってきた方がいいです。

高麗駅 - 日和田山 - 巾着田 - 高麗駅
終了時間：15：00 ごろ（時間はずれるかもしれません）

※もし時間がある方はその後巾着田や高麗川付近で飲みながらピクニックを楽しみましょう！

・巾着田
日和田山から眺めると、巾着のように見えるので、古くからの俗称としてこの名が付けられました。
巾着田（きんちゃくだ）は、500万本の曼珠沙華（まんじゅしゃげ）が咲き誇る、日本最大級の群生地です。
花の最盛期になると、まるで赤いじゅうたんを敷き詰めたような光景がお楽しみいただけます。
曼珠沙華の開花時期に合わせて開催される巾着田曼珠沙華まつり内では、市内のグルメや物産の出店等があります。

・日和田山
標高305ⅿ、日高市のシンボルとして親しまれている山です。 ハイキングコースも整備されており、緩やかな傾斜の女坂と岩場のある男坂など、いろいろな登り方が楽しめます。 山頂まで約2km。途中、巾着田が眺められたり、金比羅神社そばを通る。頂上からは日高市一帯が見渡せます。 また、天気の良い日には、新宿の高層ビル群や東京スカイツリーも見ることができます。
