We have pleasure in inviting you to participate in the special celebrations drawn up to mark the 2637th Birth Anniversary of the Buddha on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 3.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
There will be all the Buddhist Temples from the GTA each having a short presentation, including the Shaolin Temple. One of the ceremonies will be the Bathing of the Buddha and Chanting in languages such as; Mandarin, Vietnamese, Japanese and Pali the original Language of Buddha.
This is going to be a multicultural event that will be interesting, spiritual and packed with content. Cynthia Moreno will be one of the Emcees, helping to explain in English what is happening. She was personally invited to do this honor, by the Venerable Bhante Saranapala, part of the monastic community of The West-End Buddhist Temple and Meditation Centre.
