Real-time Insights from Big Data

Hey everyone,

As big data technologies pick up steam, making sense of collected data remains a challenge. To kickstart 2015, we will be hosting directly from France over video conference, David Pilato from Elasticsearch, who will share with us how we can gain insight from data in real-time.

The abstract of the session as David puts it: "Elasticsearch, you know, for search! But you can use it as well to compute information on live data.”

During this session with David, you will discover how elasticsearch actually works. We will inject marketing data into elasticsearch and build a live dashboard using Kibana, a generic and powerful visualization tool under Apache2 license. In minutes, you will know how to build YOUR own dashboard and make sense of YOUR data!

David Pilato (http://fr.linkedin.com/in/dadoonet) – Technical Advocate at Elasticsearch and the creator of the Elasticsearch French Speakers User Group. He is a a frequent speaker about all things Elasticsearch, including Devoxx, CodeMotion, Softshake, JMaghreb. In his free time, he enjoys coding and DJs four times per year, just for fun. He lives with his family in Cergy, France.
