Please, bear with me a bit as I get things reorganized. There is a big connection between Philosophy & Astronomy, more on that to come later. This event is in connection with my Astronomy group Space City Sky Watch Society. Come out and look up to enjoy some cosmic consciousness!

During this lunar eclipse the moon's color will turn from white to rusty orange giving it the nickname "blood moon." Also, known as a Full Flower Moon or the Full Corn Planting Moon. In most areas of the northern hemisphere, flowers are abundant in late spring. Blossoms of brilliant color burst forth in both tree and meadow. Thus the name of May’s Moon, the Full Flower Moon. May also marks the end of hard frost, making this the time of year when farmers begin to seed their fields. This led to May’s Moon also being known as the Full Corn Planting Moon.
