Social Event: Peninsula Banjo Band
Your DBSA Events Coordinator, Eddie would like to cordially invite you to attend a fun event! Peninsula Banjo Band If you're hungry, feel free to have one of Harry's great meals or wonderful home made desserts. Eddie will be reserving a table for us right next to the band, so look for him. There will be small orange traffic cones with glow sticks on the table that says DBSA so you can easily see him. There is no cover charge nor cost...what a value! Band starts promptly at 7 PM. He usually arrives around 6:40 PM, after most of the dinner crowd leaves and can only hold our table till 7:10 PM. If you have any questions, call/text him at (408)[masked] It is a fun time! To quote comedian and banjo player Steve Martin: "There is no sad banjo music!" The band really appreciates us showing up every Wednesday.

What we're about

Find comfort and direction in a confidential and supportive setting, and where you can make a difference in the lives of others. DBSA San Jose support groups are volunteer run and provide self-help for those living with Mood Disorders (Depression & Bipolar Disorder) through facilitated meetings. Our support groups are not group therapy, however, we do have local professional advisers.

NOTE: Please ignore the number of participants shown here for each meeting. We advertise these meetings on several sites and through out mailing list. Generally, you can expect about 12-20 people in our regular meetings.
