We've heard so much about this film in passing and we're super excited to finally see it.
We expect the theater to be packed for the festival so please come early (between 6:15-6:45) so we can find each other and sit together. One of us will be in the front of the indoor theater past the lobby where you show your ticket. We'll be wearing a Black Girl Film Club sticker! Please check the WhatsApp and discussion board for any real-time updates.
The New African Film Festival (NAFF), presented by the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center and Africa World Now Project, brings the vibrancy of African filmmaking from all corners of the continent and across the diaspora to the Washington, DC, area.
Shout out to Janna and Kamara for recommending this event!
