What we’re about
- This Group is for the casual, social Bridge player who likes to bid while sipping a glass of wine. Some of our members play on a regular basis while others are learning the game or have not played in years. Beginners are welcome! We have free Tutorials for players interested in improving their game.
- Venue: We play near the Watergate Complex in DC. Ideal for people living in DC, Arlington, Crystal City, Rosslyn, Clarendon, Georgetown, Chevy Chase, Bethesda or Silver Spring. A number of enthusiastic players come in from the more distant suburbs
- SideBar: A number of our regulars also enjoy Skiing, Pickleball and Tennis (Poetry, too). If you enjoy these, you'll uncover some synergistic activity mates.
- Location: Our playing tables are located near the Watergate Complex, close to 25th & F, in DC. Please directly message the Organizer for the exact address and other helpful details. Plenty of free street parking available on Sunday afternoons. Conveniently, the Foggy Bottom Metro subway station is only an 8 minute walk from the playing area
- Registration: As you know, Bridge requires Four to a Table and we ensure that the total Count for each Sunday is some exact multiple of Four. Players RSVP by Thursday at the latest, and, as you might surmise, last minute cancellations create havoc (because then the other three at the table cannot play and end up with a wasted afternoon). Please Register as early in the week as possible to be in the Count.
