Complex application deployment strategies (such as automated canary analysis) across multiple platforms/clouds and abstractions necessitate systems that manage continuous delivery (CD) to be more stateful than they have traditionally been. Spinnaker, donated to the OSS community by Netflix, builds on that idea bringing together application inventory (across multiple platforms) and tie them to delivery pipelines.

With a 15+ year background in software development and nearly 20 years in IT, in his current role, he advises enterprises on how to transform the way software is built.
