dbt Meetups are networking events open to all folks working with data! Talks predominantly focus on community members' experience with dbt, but presentations can cover broader topics such as analytics engineering, data stacks, data ops, modeling, testing, and team structures.

🗣️ Presentations:

• Ramiz Bozai (Solutions Architect at dbt Labs) will show how the dbt Semantic Layer enables centralized metric definitions alongside dbt models, for consistency in downstream BI reporting.
• Chris Brauckmuller (Chief Strategy Officer at Fundrise) will explain how Fundrise uses dbt to run their real estate investment portfolio.

Event details:

The doors open at 5:30pm for check-in and networking. Presentations begin at 6:00 and there will be additional networking time until 7:30.

Refreshments will be provided.

Directions:
The Fundrise office is on Dupont Circle, a short walk from the red line. The entrance to the building is on New Hampshire Avenue. Walk into the courtyard and the doors are on the right.
